I've been trying to straighten out my husband ezpass for him. Couldn't online therefore I needed assistance from a customer service agent. Which said he was going to do it and transferred me to the automated line. That say it's after business hours. Why print 7am-7pm Mondays through Friday. When it disconnected it was after 5pm. Fire some of the lazy people your company has employed receiving a paycheck for not help live customers ! I'm contacting your corporate office!

Billing Issues

All vehicles are registered to the EZPass account holder. The app rarely works or won't let me sign in.

Transponders are always in the vehicle where they can be read. I bought two new vehicles, and before I could update my plates, we went through toll booths. Mine you my transponders were in the vehicle. I received one tolls by mail, and went online to pay it or connect it to my account.

Yet, the EZPass website and tolls by Mail sites are apparently separate and don't communicate. Ezpass knew who to send the bill to, but didn't think to check if my tags were stolen, or just bill my account. Months after thinking I fixed it, I received a separate bill saying I now have a violation of $50.00. I went online, and it is showing a violation that wasn't there the last time prior to the bill I thought I fixed.

But that bill was still there too. I corrected it again, it says it is in dispute? I tried calling, and that is a nightmare, only when I was finally on hold to speak with someone I was informed my hold time was over an hour due to high call volume. (I wonder why).

I also sent an email. While on the EZPass site it shows I have no outstanding bills or violations. So which one is it?

How about employing everyone that lost their booth jobs in the customer service center, and how about getting a website that meets 2024 standards. What are you doing with our money, because the roads, app, and website are horrible!

If I could E-Z 0 stars, I would. Customer service are extremely rude and do not want to help you. You are paying for this service it is not free, I don't understand. They do not want to assist you in any way. Cut you off mid-conversation. Express my dissatisfaction to the manager, no apology, nothing. Then the manager tried to get you off the call. A total RIP-OFF!

Trying to reach Customer Service

I have been trying to reach customer service since the beginning of December 2023, on hold over an hour. My second call today, a female answered, sounded like a recording, did not hear me and hung up. I need to update my account and put money on my card. And, have had no success to get online. Very frustrated.

Horrible Billing & Customer Service

I don't even know what to say about E-Z Pass NY. They charged me $50 in late fees on a $4 toll that was 2 months overdue, despite me having paid it.

I paid that and setup EZpass to avoid this a second time. Entered banking and credit card information and select pay as you go. Just got a notice that I had a $20 fine because my bank and credit card information was not working and I hadn't paid the balance. What balance, it was pay as you go?

1 hour on the phone and both operators kept saying the same thing..it removes accounts automatically when it fails. Why didn't you notify me? It removes it automatically. You have my email why didn't you notify me?

They should have. Why didn't you use the credit card the website specifically said it would use as backup? It removes it automatically.

What a joke, or at least it would be if it didn't keep costing me so much money. Criminals don't usually charge this much and are a lot more fair than this organization.

Don't cost more than 150$for a month to go to Albany from where I'm at.then they wait a month and pop up with new charges, when I said I still had money in my account then,I still don't get answers to where all this money went. Then think I'll do auto pay again?no way!last time I did that they took what they wanted out of my account when they wanted, no notice or anything, like we have a joint bank account smh

I'm in the same boat. Sent them a copy of my statement showing my transponder read at other toll locations but they did not read my statement and sent the $75 to collections.

I will be contacting MA where my account is held for assistance.

Delaware took note and apologized for the inconvenience. Why must we pay for their faulty equipment ?
